Manuscript Preparation

1. General Format

  • Language: English (US or UK, but consistent throughout)
  • File Format: Microsoft Word (.doc or .docx) or PDF
  • Font: Times New Roman, 12 point
  • Line Spacing: Double-spaced throughout
  • Margins: 1 inch (2.54 cm) on all sides
  • Page Numbers: Centered at the bottom of each page

2. Title Page

  • Manuscript title (concise, descriptive, max 20 words)
  • Full names of all authors
  • Institutional affiliations
  • Corresponding author's email and phone
  • ORCID iDs (recommended)

3. Abstract

  • Length: 200-300 words
  • Structure: Background, Methods, Results, Conclusions
  • No citations or abbreviations
  • Keywords: 3-6 keywords below the abstract

4. Main Text Structure

  • Introduction: Background, research gap, objectives
  • Literature Review: Critical analysis of existing research (optional separate section)
  • Methodology: Research design, data collection, analysis methods
  • Results: Findings presented clearly with tables/figures
  • Discussion: Interpretation, implications, limitations
  • Conclusion: Summary, contributions, future directions

Citations and References

Accepted Citation Styles

We accept three major citation styles. Choose one and use it consistently:

  • APA 7th Edition (Recommended for Social Sciences, Business, Health)
  • MLA 9th Edition (Humanities, Literature)
  • Chicago 17th Edition (History, Arts)

In-Text Citations

APA Example: (Smith, 2020) or Smith (2020) found that...

Multiple authors: (Smith & Jones, 2020) or (Smith et al., 2020) for 3+ authors

Reference List

Include all cited works in alphabetical order. Ensure accuracy and completeness.

Tables and Figures

  • Number consecutively in order of appearance
  • Provide clear, descriptive captions
  • Tables: Use simple format, editable in Word
  • Figures: High resolution (minimum 300 dpi)
  • Reference all tables/figures in the text
  • Obtain permission for copyrighted materials

Ethical Considerations

Authorship

  • All listed authors must have made substantial contributions
  • All contributors should be acknowledged appropriately
  • Declare any conflicts of interest

Plagiarism

  • All submissions are checked using plagiarism detection software
  • Similarity index should be below 20%
  • Proper attribution required for all sources

Data and Research Ethics

  • Obtain necessary ethics approvals for human/animal studies
  • Include ethics approval numbers in methodology
  • Ensure informed consent was obtained
  • Follow data protection regulations

Submission Checklist

Before submitting, ensure you have:

  • Completed manuscript with all required sections
  • Title page with author information
  • Abstract (200-300 words) with keywords
  • Properly formatted references
  • High-quality figures and tables
  • Cover letter explaining significance
